Cohen Recognized as National Law Journal Elite Boutique Trailblazer in 2020

Michelle Cohen, a partner at Ifrah Law, has been named as one of the 2020 National Law Journal Elite Boutique Trailblazers.

In an industry traditionally underrepresented by women, Cohen leads the firm’s data privacy practice and guides major gaming clients and industry players as they navigate constantly evolving U.S. and international data privacy requirements. Cohen also helps companies launch initiatives such as sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions to market their services. She advises clients on eligibility questions, state registrations, and making sure promotions are run smoothly resulting in the goodwill and branding the companies seek.

Cohen’s work includes overseeing national promotions with millions of dollars of prizes. She has been a Certified Information Privacy Professional – U.S. since 2008 and is currently co-chairing OneTrust’s Privacy Connect D.C. Chapter. Michelle is featured
for her expertise in technology law policy on “Sourcelist,” through the Brookings Institution.

Jeff Ifrah To Discuss Sports Betting Landscape in Upcoming LEAD1 Webinar
Jeff Ifrah, founding partner of Ifrah Law, will be a featured presenter at a LEAD1 Webinar to discuss the Sports Betting Landscape on October 27th at 1pm EST.

LEAD1 (www.LEAD1Association.com) represents the athletics directors of
the 130 member universities of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). LEAD1’s mission focuses on influencing how the rules of college sports are enacted and implemented, advocating for the future of college athletics, and providing various services to its member schools. Ifrah will be joined by Heather Lyke, athletic director at the University of Pittsburgh, and Dan Walsh of Farragut Partners.
